Skin Cancer Treatment and Detection

Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Malignant Melanoma
Dr. Armstrong has experience using a technique called frozen section to ensure complete removal of all of the skin cancer.  We also offer cutting edge non-surgical treatment with the Sensus SRT-100. The Sensus SRT-100 is a great way to treat selected basal cell and squamous cell skin cancers with low dose radiation done right in our office! Not every skin cancer needs surgery! Because every skin cancer and patient is unique, our team of exceptional providers will educate you on your diagnosis and the best treatment options for you.
Psoriasis
Dr. Armstrong has lectured nationally on this topic and is a member of the National Psoriasis Foundation. Narrow Band Ultraviolet Light (UVB) is administered to treat appropriate patients with not only psoriasis, but also vitiligo and resistance cases of eczema.

Actinic Keratoses
Dr. Armstrong has participated in numerous studies and trials in this area. We offer Photodynamic Therapy with Levulan Kerastick. All patients are treated individually, so we can tailor the care to best manage the severity of the sun damage.
